Psychotherapy

Individual Therapy is collaborative relationship between therapist and you. It will be a safe space for you to explore and improve your quality of life. Therapy models utilized are CBT, Psychodynamic, & Interpersonal Therapy.

Islamic-Based Psychotherapy

I am currently in training to become an Islamic Psychotherapist under the TIIP Model. This therapeutic framework combines inherently Islamic approaches of psychotherapy & integration of mainstream interventions.

Parent-Child 
Psychotherapy

Parent Child Psychotherapy is to strengthen & improve the relationship between child & caregiver typically after a traumatic event or to repair a relationship.

Life & Parent Coaching

Coaching is offered to those who need clarify goals and identify obstacles and problematic behaviors in order to create action plans to achieve desired results. *This is not therapy.

My Approach

As a therapist, I take a collaborative approach with my clients. You are in the driver seat. I want to provide a safe space for you in which you feel heard and validated. I will provide an empathetic ear, be supportive and present. I will work with you to create your goals and help you obtain them.  This is your time in which you and your goals are the priority.

About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I received my Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist since 2014. I have worked with individuals, children, adolescents, couples & families. My specialty is in individual psychotherapy specifically for Muslims, South Asians and Immigrants.
