About Me
Being a therapist & helping others through counseling has truly become my passion. As a first generation eldest Pakistani daughter, I have found hope and healing for my clients and for myself in therapy. I firmly believe with a help of a therapist, you can break cycles, and start new patterns. My job is to support you and provide a safe space so you can explore all feelings without judgment. I use a strengths based approach with all my clients. Relationships are a focus of my work, specifically parent-child, family and sibling relationships.

Education
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I received my Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University. I received my bachelors of arts in Psychology from Rutgers University as well. I am currently in training to become a Islamic Psychotherapist under the TIIP Framework.

Experience
After graduating in 2014, I worked as a Substance Use & Parent Child Psychotherapist for four years. I worked with diverse communities and cultures. In 2019 after obtaining my LCSW, I joined a private practice group and worked as a psychotherapist for two years during the COVID-19 pandemic. I worked with individuals, couples, children & adolescents of diverse backgrounds.
